Men:

  • Mantle (Knights and Bailiffs only)

  • Miniature medals

  • Neck decoration (with applicable Trophy)

  • The Pilgrim Shell of the Order (for those awarded): the shell is worn on the right side approx. 6” above the waist for men.

  • Black tuxedo

  • Canadian Forces mess kit, for active or retired members of the CF

  • White dress shirt with pleated or textured front

  • Knight Commander's Star for Knight Commanders

  • Bailiff’s Star for Bailiffs

  • White tie and tails (or mess kit) and Grand Cordon Sash for Sovereign Council members

  • Black bow tie, cummerbund, or vest for all other members

  • Polished black shoes

 Women:

  • Mantle (Dames and Bailiffs only)

  • Miniature medals

  • Applicable Trophy on a bow (worn below left shoulder).  Female active or retired CF members may wear a neck decoration with mess kit instead of the applicable Trophy on a ribbon bow)

  • Dame Commander's Star for Dame Commanders

  • Bailiff’s Star for Bailiffs

  • Grand Cordon Sash for Sovereign Council members

  • The Pilgrim Shell of the Order (for those awarded): the shell is worn on the right side approx. 3” above the waist for women.

  • Canadian Forces mess kit, for active or retired members

  • Floor-length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses

  • Evening heels or formal flats

  • Clutch bag, formal wrap, and fine jewelry
