• To promote the highest ideals of Christian chivalry;

  • To encourage works of humanity and charity that bring relief to people in sickness, distress, suffering, and danger. This is done with no discrimination to race, colour, creed, or national origin;

  • To provide aid to sick and injured people, and to assist organizations providing these services in times of emergency or strife;

  • To present awards and honours to community members performing special acts or services in the cause of humanity;

  • To maintain the Mission of St John;

  • To support the development and maintenance of educational institutions that provide instruction in Christian ethics, the study of humankind, and the alleviation of suffering worldwide;

  • To forge connections with like-minded organizations to further the goals and purposes of the Order;

  • To responsibly manage donations, gifts, and bequests to our organization and apply them to the achievement of our mission; and

  • To establish and maintain archives of printed material, art, and artefacts relating to the Order.
