St. John's Day/tour Beechwood
Montreal-Ottawa Commandery: A private tour of the remarkable monuments at Beechwood Cemetery, led by Nick McCarthy.
At 3:00pm,there will be a BBQ social event at the home of Maria and Joe McNulty. In lieu of an event fee, the McNultys request participants make a modest donation to HOSJ. RSVP by June 1 to lori.halfper1@gmail.com. Rain or shine event, BYOB.

Silent Auction:
This is a new fundraising venture to complement our local Commandery charitable donation funds, and we would love to have you participate. Our silent auction will be by in-person bid at the event. Pay by cash or EFT on your successful bid for great items and gift sets. Our signature auction item is a work of art by our own Chev. Eric Skelton. Thank you, Eric! If you would like to donate items to the silent auction, and for further information, please contact Dame Rachael Curtis as soon as possible at rachaelacurtis1@gmail.com or 519-890-4064 to indicate your item(s) and the value.

Fun Day in Brockville
Montreal-Ottawa Commandery: a boat tour of the 1000 Islands/St. Lawrence River, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Then, a private tour of the Edwardian mansion (Fulford Place) with a wine & cheese social gathering in the mansion. RSVP to Dame Lori Halfper (lori.halfper1@gmail.com) by June 30 to reserve your spot. Information on overnight accommodation and event cost will be provided soon.

Montreal-Ottawa Commandery AGM
Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026
Time: please arrive by 2:45 pm for the 3:00 pm start
Location: Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario
Dress: Blazers, business suit, appropriate female equivalent, lapel pins. (mantles not required)
Cost: $30/person (to offset refreshments and event overhead costs, with the balance being directed to offset costs for the next event). Following the event, we will dine together at a local restaurant, where everyone can select their meal, and pay for their own food and beverages.
We will be welcoming at least one (possibly two) new members
There will be a very special musical surprise happening during our prayer service.
Schedule:
3:00 pm: social gathering/light refreshments
4:00 pm: Prayer Service and AGM
5:30 pm: Guest speaker (another surprise)
6:30 pm: Restaurant meal (social event only, no speeches or presentations) at Moxie's Gloucester, 1976 Ogilvie Road, Gloucester, ON (10-minute drive). Please refer to the attached group menu. Everyone will pay for their own food and beverage.
Parking: There is free on-site parking at the Beechwood site. If anyone wishes to carpool to the restaurant, they are welcome to leave some vehicles behind at Beechwood. Please refer to the attached site map.
